At Elcor, sustainability is a strategic priority - and a journey we have actively begun. Over the past year, it has become an integrated part of how we think, work, and grow.
We have built a strong foundation by mapping our emissions, aligning with global frameworks, and launching targeted initiatives across energy, logistics, and sourcing.
As part of this, we have committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on the areas where we can make the greatest difference:
- Goal 7 - Affordable and Clean Energy
- Goal 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth
- Goal 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production.
Our approach is rooted in transparency and continuous improvement - and we are fully committed to the road ahead.

Focus areas that guide our progress
Our sustainability work is anchored in practical action and strategic direction. We focus on initiatives that create long-term value - for our customers, our people, and the environment.
Complete GHG mapping. We have measured our full carbon footprint at Group level to guide data-driven decisions and identify key impact areas.
Prioritising Scope 3. The majority of our emissions come from purchased goods, logistics and travel - areas where collaboration can drive real change.
Smarter energy at site level. Solar panels now generate a third of electricity at our Randers facility, and most locations use smart lighting for efficiency.
Materiality with impact. Our double materiality assessment defines where our ESG efforts matter most - shaping actions and investments.
Sustainable sourcing in practice. We require suppliers to document origin and working conditions, and we use tools like CMRT to verify responsible mineral sourcing.
People-centered development. A new engagement survey gives insight into well-being and culture - helping us build a more inclusive and resilient workplace.
