Accounting Assistant

At Elcor, we are looking for an Accounting Assistant for a flexible part-time position. The starting point is around 25 hours per week, but the number of hours can be increased if you have the desire and skills to take on more tasks, e.g. project-related tasks.

About the position

At Elcor, you will be a central part of the finance function and work closely with our Financial Manager, while also having broad contact and collaboration with the rest of the organisation. You will help to ensure that day-to-day financial administration runs smoothly and professionally.

The role includes a core of well-defined and routine tasks that ensure structure and overview in everyday life. At the same time, there is the opportunity to expand the role if you want more responsibility, e.g. in connection with projects, process optimisation, system support or other special tasks that match your experience.

Your tasks will include, among other things

  • Ongoing bookkeeping of purchase, sales and financial documents
  • Creditor management, including handling and approval flow of supplier invoices
  • Accounts receivable management, including invoicing, payment follow-up and reminder procedures
  • Bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations
  • Handling and reconciliation of travel expenses and payment cards
  • Preparation of material for month-end and year-end closing in collaboration with the controller/finance manager
  • Reporting of VAT and taxes and follow-up on relevant deadlines
  • Maintaining and updating master data in the ERP system
  • Contributing to the optimisation and digitisation of processes in the finance function
  • You can communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, e.g. in dialogue with colleagues, partners or suppliers.

A little about you

We imagine that you:

Experience as a bookkeeper, financial assistant or financial assistant

Thrives on routine tasks and fixed processes and takes pride in doing things correctly

Works in a structured and independent manner with an eye for detail

Experience with ERP systems, preferably Business Central or Navision

Calm and welcoming in your approach to both tasks and colleagues

Easy to work with and contributes to a positive and respectful atmosphere in everyday life

Clear and helpful in your communication, even when the tasks are familiar and routine

Thrives in a small team where people help each other and share knowledge
